DESTINATARIOS: estudiantes de las carreras de posgrado de Astronomía,
Geofísica y Meteorología y Ciencias de la Atmósfera con poca experiencia
en la escritura de papers y presentaciones orales.
El curso se dictará en inglés, por lo cual las personas interesadas
deberán tener un nivel intermedio del idioma (conocimientos esenciales de
gramática y vocabulario para escribir y hablar sobre sus respectivas
disciplinas).

INTERNATIONAL MAX PLANCK RESEARCH SCHOOL FOR SOLAR SYSTEM SCIENCE AT THE
UNIVERSITY OF GöTTINGEN
PhD Position at Max Planck Institute for Solar System Research (MPS) in

Solar Variability and Climate Group at MPS has an open position to be
filled as soon as possible. The successful candidate is expected to start
around 1 September 2025 and will work on the project "How strongly does the
solar ultraviolet radiation vary? - Understanding the sources of the solar
brightness variations in the UV":

In addition to a strong interest in Solar Physics and Solar Variability,
applicants should have a proven track record of academic excellence. They
must hold, or be about to obtain, an M.Sc. degree (or equivalent) in
physics, astronomy, or a related field, and demonstrate proficiency in
English.
