SUPERNOVAE 2007ev, 2007ew, 2007ex, 2007ey, 2007ez, 2007fa
     The "Nearby Supernova Factory" collaboration (G. Aldering, C.
Aragon, S. Bailey, S. Bongard, M. Childress, S. Loken, P. Nugent,
S. Perlmutter, K. Runge, R. C. Thomas, and B. A. Weaver, Lawrence
Berkeley National Laboratory, Berkeley; P. Antilogus, J. Li, R. Pain,
R. Pereira, and C. Wu, Laboratoire de Physique Nucleaire et de Haute
Energies de Paris; C. Buton, Y. Copin, E. Gangler, and G. Smadja,
Institut de Physique Nucleaire de Lyon; E. Pecontal and G. Rigaudier,
Centre de Recherche Astronomique de Lyon; R. Kessler, Kavli Institute
for Cosmological Physics, Chicago; J. Holtzman, New Mexico State
University, Las Cruces; and C. Baltay, A. Bauer, N. Ellman, D.
Rabinowitz, and R. Scalzo, Yale University) anonymously reports the
discovery of six supernovae in images obtained during June 27-30 UT
using the QUEST-II camera on the Palomar Oschin 1.2-m telescope,
operated by the Palomar-QUEST Consortium.  Spectra (range 320-1000 nm)
obtained on July 2.3 and 2.5 with the SuperNova Integral Field
Spectrograph on the University of Hawaii 2.2-m telescope were used to
classify each object; 2007ev was then a few days after maximum, 2007ex
was a few days before maximum, 2007ey was around maximum, and 2007ez
was one month after maximum.  R-band discovery magnitudes and astrometry
were derived from comparison with the USNO-B1.0 catalogue.  The
following table summarizes the discovered supernovae.
