SUPERNOVA 2010hn
     Denis Vida, on behalf of the "La Sagra Sky Survey (LSSS) Supernova Search
Team" (which includes also Filip Novoselnik, Ivica Skokic, Robert Gregic, David
Gostinski, Anton Aladenic, Salvador Sanchez, Jaime Nomen, Reiner Stoss, Bill
Yeung, Juan Rodriguez, and Miguel Hurtado), reports the discovery of an
apparent supernova (magnitude 17.5) on three CCD images (limiting mag about
20.0) taken on Aug. 7.012, 7.025, and 7.038 UT with a 0.45-m telescope.  The
new object is located at R.A. = 21h43m19s.14, Decl = -15d03'19".6 (equinox
2000.0), which is 10".5 east and 0".5 south of the nucleus of the presumed
host galaxy. Additional approximate magnitudes for 2010hn (from unfiltered
images unless otherwise noted): 1987 Oct. 18.43, [22 (Digitized Sky Survey,
red plate); 2010 Aug. 2.062, 17.2 (LSSS); 15.970, 18.2 (LSSS); 19.346, 19.8
(J. Brimacombe, Cairns, Australia; remotely using a 50-cm RCOS telescope
+ STL11K camera from New Mexico Skies Observatory near Mayhill, NM, U.S.A.);
19.981, 18.7 (LSSS); 27.399, 19.9 (Brimacombe; measured by Vida). The LSSS
image from Aug. 2 has been posted (with the red DSS image on the right) at
