     J. L. Prieto, Carnegie Observatories, reports that optical spectra (range
370-930 nm; resolution 0.7 nm) of 2011au, 2011av, 2011aw, and 2011ax were
obtained with the APO 3.5-m telescope (+ DIS) on Mar. 12.1 UT. After cross-
correlation with a library of supernova spectra using SNID (Blondin and Tonry
2007, Ap.J. 666, 1024), the following spectral classes were identified:
2011au is a normal type-Ia supernova discovered around maximum light at z =
0.111; 2011av is a normal type-Ia supernova around maximum light at z = 0.054;
2011aw is a type-Ib/c supernova at z = 0.055; 2011ax is a normal type-Ia
supernova around maximum light at z = 0.062. The redshifts were obtained
from host-galaxy emission lines for 2011au, 2011av, and 2011aw, and using SNID
for 2011ax.
