COMET 252P/2011 L5 (LINEAR)
     As detailed on CBET 2742 with all of the available astrometry,
J. V. Scotti, Lunar and Planetary Laboratory, University of Arizona,
reports his recovery of comet P/2000 G1 (cf. IAUCs 7396, 7408) on
images taken with the Spacewatch 1.8-m f/2.7 reflector at Kitt Peak;
the object is just slightly softer than stellar images nearby. The
first and last observations from each night are tabulated below.

     2011 UT             R.A. (2000) Decl.       Mag.
     June  9.41994   20 53 47.26   - 3 02 27.4   22.7
           9.43421   20 53 46.77   - 3 02 25.7
          10.42409   20 53 17.22   - 3 00 57.9
          10.45125   20 53 16.26   - 3 00 56.7

The indicated correction to the prediction on MPC 59601 is Delta(T)
= -0.24 day. The following linked orbital elements are by G. V.
Williams (cf. MPEC 2011-L41); the comet was missed at its 2005
return. The permanent designation 252P has been given to this comet.

                    Epoch = 2010 Nov. 20.0 TT

COMET C/2011 L6 (BOATTINI)
     A. Boattini reports his discovery of a comet (discovery
observation tabulated below) on images taken with the 1.5-m
reflector at Mt. Lemmon; follow-up images from June 9.2-9.3 UT show
a very strong condensation and an almost-stellar appearance with a
coma diameter of at least 3".

     2011 UT             R.A. (2000) Decl.       Mag.   Observer
     June  8.20999   14 58 04.44   -20 01 13.8   20.5   Boattini

     The initial astrometry (including prediscovery Mt. Lemmon
astrometry from May 28) appears on MPEC 2011-L42; following are
parabolic orbital elements by G. V. Williams from MPC 75294:

     T = 2011 Jan. 20.7672 TT         Peri. = 331.4459
                                      Node  = 214.4861  2000.0
     q = 6.784089 AU                  Incl. = 171.4555
