Dear colleagues,
   

  I am writing to share an exciting opportunity for a TWO-YEAR
POST-DOCTORAL position at the Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI) in
Baltimore, USA.
We are assembling a dynamic team of researchers to explore the profound
impact of RADIO-LOUD AGN ON GALAXY EVOLUTION, utilizing forthcoming data
from the JWST's NIRSpec and MIRI instruments.

/The position offers flexibility for independent research, and the nominal
start date is anticipated to be Spring/Summer 2024 (Northern Hemisphere),
with negotiable alternatives./

   

  We are seeking an individual with a Ph.D. in astronomy or a related field,
possessing a robust background in infrared/optical spectroscopy, data
reduction from space-based observatories, galaxy interstellar medium
studies, AGN properties and feedback, and/or simulations of galaxies and/or
jets. However, beyond specific qualifications, we value the candidate's
eagerness to embrace new projects, acquire new skills, and demonstrate a
capability for independent work.
