  I would be grateful if you could forward this announcement to members of
your institute and interested candidates.
   
  I will soon move to Heidelberg to start my Heisenberg group at the
Landessternwarte which is part of the Center of Astronomy of the University
of Heidelberg.
   
  I have to offer a PhD position (3 years) and a Postdoc position (2+ years)
to help with the analysis of the HST treasury program "A Treasury FUV
Survey of the Hottest White Dwarfs".
   
  Applicants should hold a Master’s (or equivalent) or PhD degree in
astrophysics or a related discipline at the time of taking up the PhD or
Postdoc position, respectively. Experience with stellar spectroscopy and/or
model atmosphere calculations will be an asset.
   
  The preferred starting date is October 1, 2023, but a later start may be
negotiated. Interested applicants should send a single PDF file

statement, and contact details of 3 (2 for applicants for the PhD position)
people willing to provide a reference letter. Applicants for the PhD
position should also provide a transcript of records.
