Deadline on May 4, 2023Job description:          We would like to bring
your attention to the call to fill several postdoctoral positions in Chile
financed by the Chilean National Science Foundation (ANID).
      
     Applicants should have obtained their PhD degree after January 1st 2020
and before May 18th 2023. The postdoctoral position is for 3 years. The
salary consists of 30.267.000 CLP (roughly 34.000 Euros) per year.
Moreover, the postdoctoral position will include money for travels and
4.500.000 CLP (5.100 Euros) per year for equipment and operational expenses
(i.e. computer, stationery). The candidate can also ask for installation
funds up to 3.000.000 CLP (3400 Euros) which will be given only the first
year. The fund also include health insurance.
      
     The application deadline is May 4th 2023 at 16:00 Chilean time (22:00
CEST). The starting date of the position is April 15th 2024. Interested
applicants should write a CV, a research proposal and a letter of
motivation to be uploaded in the application form.
      
     Please notice that applicants need the support of an internal member of
a chilean university. Applicants interested to become part of the cosmology
group at the Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Science, University of

     The Cosmology group at the University of Chile has two professors
working on theoretical cosmology, inflation, cmb, dark energy and large
scale structure. Furthermore, being part of a chilean institution gives
rights to be a member of several international collaborations (Vera Rubin
Observatory, ACT, ALMA, ELT, ...).
