There are potential host institutions worldwide (including Las Cumbres
Obs) and fellows have a lot of freedom
to direct their own Rubin-themed research - microlensing proposals would be
very welcome!

  ASTROPHYSICS:

  The astrophysics Fellowships support postdoctoral scientists to make
discoveries during the run-up to LSST and during the early years of LSST. 
The Fellowship is designed to train a diverse group of scientific leaders
who are deeply and broadly familiar with LSST’s capabilities.

SOCIAL SCIENCE:

  The social science fellowships support early-career social scientists who
will use a variety of methods to study the social aspects of this large
scale and innovative scientific endeavor such as: how collaboration
networks form; how interdisciplinary research can be fostered; how original
contributions are developed; how gender and race influence scientific
practice and mentoring; and how scientific practices are evolving with new,
big, and open datasets.
