[Doctorandos] Interdisciplinary postdoc and PhD position in Astronomy and Machine Learning

INTERDISCIPLINARY CENTER FOR SCIENTIFIC COMPUTING IN HEIDELBERG

I am opening an interdisciplinary postdoc position combining 
Computational Astrophysics and physics-informed Machine Learning in my 
newly established research group.
The position will be located at the Interdisciplinary Center for 
Scientific Computing in Heidelberg 
(https://typo.iwr.uni-heidelberg.de/home) with close connections to 
the Institute for Theoretical Astrophysics of the University and /RUNS /
/INITIALLY FOR 3 YEARS/.

The broad research topic of this position is the development of 
physics-informed ML tools for computational astrophysics with a focus 
on galaxy formation.
50% of the time is reserved to be spent freely on your own research
projects.
