The National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO) and the Next Generation Very
    Large Array (ngVLA) Science Advisory Council are pleased to announce that an
    online ngVLA Summer Short Talk Series will begin Thursday, 25 June, 3 p.m.
    Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) and continue weekly (except 2 July) through
    10 September.

    The complete ngVLA Talk Series schedule and information regarding
    registration and attendance is online at

    Each 20 to 25-minute talk will highlight open science questions and their
    connection to present and future observing facilities at all wavelengths. A
    moderated, 20-minute, audience Q&A session will accompany each talk.

    The talks will be held via Zoom; a Zoom link will be provided after
    registration. The talks and Q&A sessions will be recorded and archived online
    for broader viewing.

    Please broadly distribute this ngVLA Summer Short Talk Series invitation to
    your colleagues, particularly graduate students, postdocs, and other
    early-career scientists.

    The opening talk of the series on 25 June will be by Prof. Thomas Maccarone,
    (Texas Tech University). His title and abstract follow below.
