The School of Physics at the University of Sydney is inviting applications
for a 3-year PhD position in Astroparticle Physics.

Successful applicants should hold a degree equivalent to a Master’s
degree
in Physics (Physics and/or Astronomy) and will be supervised by Professor
Boehm and Joss Bland-Hawthorn on projects related to dark matter, the
formation of large-scale-structures of the Universe and the structure of
the Milky Way. Other members of the team include Scott Croom, Geraint
Lewis, Elaine Sadler, Kevin Varvell, and Archil Kobakhidze. The successful
candidate will be invited to collaborate with scientists all around the
world and to join CTA-OZ, the ARC Centre of Excellence for All-sky
Astrophysics in 3 Dimensions (ASTRO 3D) , the new SABRE experiment, the SKA
as well as the other smaller collaborations.
