Título:Institute of Geodesy and Geophysics (IGG), Chinese Academy of 
Sciences: A Brief Introduction.


Resumen:Institute of Geodesy and Geophysics (IGG), Chinese Academy of 
Sciences, founded in 1957, is one of the earliest scientific research 
institutes of Geodesy in China. IGG is mainly engaged in geodesy, 
geophysics and geodynamics, environmental science and interdisciplinary 
important research problems and key technical problems of science, 
including local and global earth movement, earth's internal structure 
and interaction between layers within the earth system, mass 
distribution and migration. In particular, the research group led by 
Professor Yunbin Yuan, focuses on GNSS-related theoretical study, 
algorithm development and applications, including atmospheric 
(ionosphere/troposphere) sounding, as well as high-precision and 
real-time positioning/navigation/timing.
