Dear Colleagues,

The theoretical astrophysics group at Kent State University has a
postdoctoral position available starting in Summer or Fall of 2018 to be
supervised by Dr. Veronica Dexheimer. The position is for one year, but may
be extended one or two more years, depending on the availability of
funding. Candidates should have a PhD in physics and a strong background in
at least one of the following areas: nuclear physics, particle physics,
high energy physics, astrophysics of compact stars, and general relativity.

Interested candidates should send their full CV including publication list
and a brief (<1 page) statement of research interests to
vdexheim en kent.edu together
with the names and emails of 3 references who may be contacted at a later
time for reference letters. Please use the string “Application for postdoc
position – SURNAME NAME” in the email subject. The application deadline is
December 15, 2017.
