Dear colleagues,

I am looking for motivated candidate(s) starting a PhD in October
interested to do research in the field of stellar spectroscopy using
observations and characterisation of close to a million stellar spectra
from the Galah (galah-survey.org), Gaia-ESO (gaia-eso.eu) and RAVE (
rave-survey.org) sky surveys, to be combined with the first data releases
from ESA’s Gaia satellite (gaia.esa.int). A full employment, social
benefits and medical insurance up to a PhD with a net salary of approx. 1k
to 1.4k Euro per month is offered. The first call is out at
