Estimados colegas,

the Centro de Estudios de Física del Cosmos de Aragón (CEFCA) is
recruiting young engineers or Math/Physics students at the
graduate level for a PhD thesis project in the field of Cosmology.

CEFCA is a newly created institution responsible for the construction
and scientific exploitation of the Javalambre-PAU Astrophysical Survey
(J-PAS). The J-PAS survey will cover ~8,000 square degrees with narrow
band photometry and its main scientific target is the characterization
of Dark Energy by accurately measuring the clustering of structure at
different cosmological epochs. The output of the survey will also
enable addressing a wide variety of astrophysical problems, ranging
from Galaxy Evolution to QSOs, exoplanets, Supernovae, asteroids, and
different cosmological tests.

The PhD student will work under the supervision of CEFCA scientific
staff in the scientific preparation and exploitation of the survey,
with full access to facilities and resources of the institution. CEFCA will also
cover the expenses associated to the Doctorate Program. The
PhD project focus on cosmological aspects of the survey, related to
the growth and spatial distribution of the Large Scale Structure and its
implications for Dark Energy, and will be conducted in CEFCA headquarters,
situated in the city of Teruel (Aragón, Spain). For further

The funding for this PhD project is already allocated and hence the
