Estimados/as colegas:

Nos complace anunciar que la inscripción a la escuela “LAPIS 2026: Local
Volume Cosmology: Constraints on Dark Matter Properties in the Era of Gaia,
LSST, and S4 Probes”  se encuentra abierta.

El evento se llevará a cabo en la Facultad de Ciencias Astronómicas y
Geofísicas de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP), Argentina, del 19
al 30 de octubre de 2026.

Además, queremos compartir con entusiasmo que LAPIS 2026 ha sido
incorporado oficialmente como un workshop I-HOW (IAU) / COSPAR, fortaleciendo
aún más el carácter internacional e interdisciplinario de la escuela y
ampliando las oportunidades de interacción y colaboración para los/las
participantes.

Adjuntamos también el flyer del evento y los invitamos a difundir esta
información entre estudiantes, investigadores/as y colegas que puedan estar
interesados/as en participar.

Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that registration for the school “LAPIS 2026:
Local Volume Cosmology: Constraints on Dark Matter Properties in the Era of
Gaia, LSST, and S4 Probes” is open.

The event will take place at the Facultad de Ciencias Astronómicas y
Geofísicas, Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP), Argentina, from October
19 to 30, 2026.

We are also excited to share that LAPIS 2026 has now been officially
incorporated as an I-HOW (IAU) / COSPAR workshop, further strengthening the
international and interdisciplinary nature of the event and expanding
opportunities for interaction and collaboration among participants.

We are attaching the flyer of the event and would greatly appreciate it if
you could share this announcement with students, researchers, and
colleagues who may be interested in participating.
