Dear colleagues,

We are delighted to announce the 7th AstroStat school, scheduled to take
place in Rome, Italy, from July 27th to 31st, 2026. The application deadline
is April 30, 2026.

In the world of astronomy, understanding and applying statistical and
machine learning methods is crucial for analyzing data, simulating
astrophysical processes, and refining theoretical models. Yet, there is a
noticeable disconnect between what is taught in formal education and the
practical application of these methods in academic research. This often
leaves researchers feeling overwhelmed.

That is where our School comes in. We are dedicated to closing this gap
through a unique combination of teaching and hands-on sessions. Our aim is
to guide students and early postdocs, who have a basic grasp of statistics,
towards mastering these advanced techniques and applying them confidently.

If you are looking to enhance your skills and career prospects, consider
applying to our program. You will be one of 30 participants engaging in
collaborative learning, sharing of ideas, and hands-on practice with both
