I’ve been a council member of the ASTRO ACCEL initiative since its
inception over three years ago and I’d like to share an opportunity that
may be of interest to you. I’ve been working with colleagues from around

ASTRO ACCEL Commons, a new virtual community and collaborative space, is a
key outcome of our work. Through ASTRO ACCEL Commons, you can quickly find
and connect to research collaborators and practitioners from around the
world to evolve innovative ideas into new projects, find and share
resources, join interest groups to address emerging common
topics and co-create and accelerate collaboration. As a member of IAU
Commission C5 Cultural Astronomy, you are invited to join the growing ASTRO
ACCEL community and access its resources at no cost. I encourage you to
take advantage of this opportunity and complete the ASTRO ACCEL Commons
registration today.

How do I Join ASTRO ACCEL Commons? It’s simple. Please click on the link
provided below and complete the onboarding process which should take 3-5
minutes to complete:

Once you have completed the onboarding process, you will be sent to the
Community Page. From the main community page, locate and click on the
“Guide” icon at the top of the page. Then, locate and click on the guide

If this sounds good to you, ASTRO ACCEL Commons will serve as a good
platform to advance research and practice in astronomy education (formal
and informal), engagement, communications and culture globally.
