Education, Outreach and Heritage

Dear IAU Division C members,

I would like to make you aware of a session being run by the
International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics (IOAA [1]) team.
The IOAA is always looking for teams from more countries particularly
South America, Africa, Middle East and Asia to compete in the Olympiad.

If you are interested in running such a national team, this session
would be very useful:

We invite you to join the international panel where you can share your
experiences in selecting and training national teams, comparing
approaches across countries and learning from our similarities and
differences. Hear from current IOAA Team leaders, exchange ideas and
discover new strategies you can adapt to your own programme.

The international panel will take place on the 12th of December 2025 at
13:00 UTC (8:00 am Eastern Time).

Moderators will be Prof. Aniket Sule and Prof. Natasa Dragovic.

If you are interested and would like to participate, you are welcome to
