As the echoes of our 24-hour global livestream fade, the IAU Office for
Astronomy Outreach sincerely thanks every individual or team who made the
100 Hours of Astronomy – 24-Hour Global Livestream possible. From
presenters and planetarium hosts to video contributors, volunteers, and
audiences around the world, your collective effort turned this celebration
of the planetarium’s centenary into a global moment of unity under one sky,
and this success belongs to you all.
Together, we connected audiences from *over 20 countries*, achieving more
than *7,000 total views* and *over 1,200 hours of watch time* across six
global streams. The event united voices from Asia, Africa, Europe, the
Americas, and Oceania, showcasing astronomy’s universal language of
curiosity and wonder.
Our viewers described the experience as *“joyful, inclusive, and inspiring”*,
showing high emotional enjoyment, engagement, and understanding.
Multilingual moderation, live interactions, and regional transitions truly
embodied our shared mission, *‘Astronomy for Everyone, Everywhere. ’*
If you missed the event, rewatch all six livestreams and relive the
highlights on the IAU OAO YouTube Channel

Thank you for your dedication, passion, and teamwork in making this
milestone celebration unforgettable.
