Dear Colleagues,
In celebration of International Women’s Day, the IAU Women in Astronomy Working Group is thrilled to announce the event: "Gender Disparity in Astronomy: A Consequence of the Leaky Pipeline Effect and Possible Measures." This initiative aims to highlight the leaky pipeline and glass ceiling effects in astronomy, while exploring potential solutions. We will also recognize colleagues who have made lasting contributions in research, policy change, mentorship, and advocacy, and who have worked to create a supportive and inclusive environment for all members of our community.
