Dear colleagues,

We are delighted to announce the 5th Summer School for AstroStatistics in 
Crete, scheduled to take place from June 16 to 20, 2026, in Heraklion, Crete. 
The application deadline is March 21, 2025.

In the world of astronomy, understanding and applying statistical and machine 
learning methods is crucial for analyzing data, simulating astrophysical 
processes, and refining theoretical models. Yet, there's a noticeable 
disconnect between what's taught in formal education and the practical 
application of these methods in academic research. This often leaves 
researchers feeling overwhelmed.

That's where our School comes in. We're dedicated to closing this gap through a 
unique blend of teaching and hands-on sessions. Our aim is to guide students 
and early postdocs, who have a basic grasp of statistics, towards mastering 
these advanced techniques and applying them confidently.

If you're looking to enhance your skills and career prospects, consider 
applying to our program. You'll be one of 30 students engaging in collaborative 
learning, idea sharing, and hands-on practice with both fundamental and
