*The Office of Astronomy for Education (OAE) is pleased to announce the
call for proposals for the Teacher Training Program, which enables our
National Astronomy Education Coordinators (NAECs), together with a local
teacher and astronomer, to apply for a grant in support of a Teacher
Training and development workshop in their country.*






* We invite and encourage anyone working in astronomy education together
with their NAECs to submit proposals for financial support of up to 2000
Euros, to organise and run the teacher training and development workshop in
2023.  This dedicated grant requires collaboration between one NAEC team
member, a local teacher, and if possible, also an astronomer to develop a
workshop on a topic of their choice.  In 2022, we supported 21 TTP
workshops across the world, and we hope to support more high-impact
proposals in 2023. With the support from OAE Centre Italy, we will also
have dedicated funding for primary and middle school teacher training and
development programs around the Mediterranean.  All information and
eligibility criteria as well as rules can be found on our webpage:

deadline is 01 May 2023.  The condition that the workshop is developed in
collaboration with a NAEC team member and submitted by this NAEC team
member is mandatory. If you are a teacher or astronomer interested in
