Sun-as-a-Star Workshop: Exploring Solar Variability with Disk-Integrated Spectra

Dear colleague,

We are pleased to announce the Sun-as-a-Star Workshop: Exploring Solar
Variability with Disk-Integrated Spectra
<https://sunasastar.flatironinstitute.org/>, to be held March 13–17, 2023,
at the Flatiron Institute <https://www.simonsfoundation.org/flatiron/> in
New York City and online. This small and informal conference is intended to
bring together experts in heliophysics, stellar astrophysics, and
spectroscopic observations to build new collaborations around the use of
disk-integrated high-resolution solar spectra (such as those taken by NEID,
EXPRES, HARPS-N, PEPSI, and others).

This interdisciplinary gathering will focus on identifying opportunities
for new cross-field collaborations and cross-pollination of ideas. To this
end, the event will include unstructured time for breakout sessions,
hacking, and interactive tutorials, as well as traditional presentations.
