We are pleased to announce the next ISWI Seminar by *Dr. Sergio
Dasso* scheduled for* September 28th at 3 PM Central European Time (9 AM
EDT; 6:30 PM IST)*.

*Title:* Dynamical evolution of Interplanetary Coronal Mass Ejections:
consequences on geo-space and on galactic cosmic rays
*Speaker:* Dr Sergio Dasso
*Abstract:* Dynamical processes in the heliosphere are rich and vast,
spanning different spatial and temporal scales. The accessibility to
'in-situ' observations makes it a unique system to improve our knowledge
and develop more advanced models of universal astrophysical processes
that are also present at other scales and objects outside of our solar
system.
Solar transient structures ejected to the interplanetary medium,
propagating out-toward the local interstellar medium, evolve in the
ambient solar wind where they are immersed.
Interplanetary Coronal Mass Ejections (ICMEs) are the major transient
solar events, being the most geo-effective and of major interest for
Space Weather.
I will present here crucial physical processes happening when ICMEs
travel toward Earth, as well as about their link with the Sun-Earth
coupling and with the galactic cosmic rays transport.
