Post-doctoral position to work in the development of an ultra-wideband
(67-116
GHz) cryogenic receiver (Chile)

We are looking for a young postdoc (less than 5 years from graduation) to
work
for two years (2022-2023) in the development of an ultra-wideband (67-116
GHz),
low noise, cryogenic receiver. The candidate should have experience in
microwaves (heterodyne receivers) and antennas. Familiarity with ALMA
receivers
is desirable although not required. The beginning of the work can be anytime
from now until mid-2022 (the sooner the better). The candidate must already
hold
a PhD. The work is based in Santiago (Chile), with some traveling to
Brazil, and
the LLAMA telescope in Argentina.

The selection will be done in the beginning of November.
The monthly salary is close to 2 million CLP (approximately $2450 USD).
