Subject: IAU WiA Survey 1- Working conditions of Women in Astronomy

Dear Colleagues,

The IAU WiA WG is conducting a survey on 'working conditions of Women in
Astronomy'.

We request you all (Female/Male) to please take this 3min simple survey to
represent your country's participation in this IAU WiA survey-1 (

).

Please note that we have already received lots of responses from many
countries all over the world and especially responses from Spain, Italy,
Australia,  are dominating the statistics, thanks to their active
participation and great job done by the IAU WiA WG National representative
for these countries.  We urge you to forward this survey to the members of
your National Astronomical Community (NAC) and represent your country.

The data collected in these surveys will help you to support STEM and
gender balance activities in your country.

Please note that we will stop this survey by *5th Dec* and publish the 1st
results in the 1st issue of the *IAU WiA ENSEMBLE magazine*.

The information about the *ENSEMBLE magazine, *surveys etc. is available on
