Dear all, the first special edition of the Communicating Astronomy with the
Public (CAP) Journal has been published on the topic of Astronomy Outreach
for Development. The articles in this edition represent some of the ways
the community has been leveraging astronomy to impact real lives, in
addition to the research & technology development carried out in the field.
All articles are free to read at:
https://www.capjournal.org/issues/27/index.php

We were only able to publish a fraction of the articles we received for
this edition. If you are running 'Astronomy for development' activities, we
can work with you to publish an article or short blog about your project on
the OAD website <http://www.astro4dev.org/>
If you want to share your astro outreach and education activities, please
send them to outreach en iau.org to be published in the IAU Outreach Newsletter
