Dear IAU Members or Associates,

We would like to be sure you're aware that a fradulent email-phishing
attempt was sent out to some IAU members pretending to be the IAU President
Ewine F. van Dishoeck requesting money for "ISC GeoUnions'.

If you receive a questionable email asking for money fromt he IAU or the
IAU President please do not respond.  Send it to iauinfos en iap.fr as we're
looking into the situation. Do not reply to the email nor transfer any
money.
