Dear colleague,

one of the objectives of the new IAU Bulletin, “Catalyst”, which now
reappears online after several years of absence, is to be a tool for the
direct communication of the various IAU structures with each member and
with other international scientific organisations and institutions.

I hope you enjoy reading it and, even more so, get involved with it through
news and contributions to the upcoming issues.

The “Catalyst” will appear twice a year, as an electronic only bulletin.
