Dear colleagues,

We are seeking highly motivated postdocs to work on projects related to
“Abundance anomalies across the Milky Way” at Universidad de Atacama, Chile
and Sun Yat-sen University, China.

The Postdoc Fellow will be involved in the analysis of high-resolution
(~30,000 to 65,000) spectra from HRS of NAOC 2.16m telescope combined with
high-resolution (~48,000) spectra from FEROS/ESO spectrograph on the ESO
2.2-m telescope at La Silla (Chile), as well as supporting observations
from these telescopes. The position is initially for three years,
extendible to a fourth year with attractive salaries. Postdocs have access
to computer resources, funds for travel, conference participation and other
needs.

Interested candidates should submit a Ph.D degree certification, curriculum
vitae including a list of publications, a research statement and name of
three letters of reference. To ensure full consideration, please submit
application materials before October 31st, 2018.

In Chile and China we have benefited observing times with the best
telescopes in the World, several national trips to the Observatories
regularly, and a vibrant international and young astronomical community. If

*Included Benefits: *

1.) Salary: $22,108,000. (~32,500. USD)-(twenty-two million one hundred
eight thousand pesos) per year.

2.) Travel and/or operating expenses: $4,500,000. (~6,600. USD) - (four
million five hundred thousand pesos) per year.

3.) Installation Expenses: $3,000,000 (~4,400. USD) - (three million pesos)
may be requested one time, and only at the beginning of the first year.

4.) Health Benefit: $468,000 (~ 680 USD) - (four hundred sixty-eight
thousand pesos) per year.
