Dear colleague,

We are always so busy that often time passes quickly and without realising
it. So I decided to send you this reminder of an important deadline that is
approaching.

31st December 2018 - the deadline for submission of the Letters of Intent
(LoI) from countries or institutions interested in hosting the Office of
Astronomy for Education (OAE) in partnership with the IAU.

The information about the call was sent to you, as IAU member, and to all
National Committees for Astronomy (NCA) or Adhering Organisations, about a
month ago. It was also then posted in the IAU webpage
https://www.iau.org/news/announcements/detail/ann18054/.

Within a month of the deadline it seems the right time to remind you and
ask for your proactivity to encourage positive action by your NCA,
Institutions or Organisations in your country, since submitting a LoI is
mandatory for later submission of a full proposal.
