We are close to the seventh Friends of Friends 2017 meeting that will be
held in Cordoba (Argentina) from April 3 to 7, 2017. We are pleased to
announce that we have numerous national and international guests which can
be seen on the official website  http://fof.oac.uncor.edu/fof/invited.html.

Important:
The deadline for abstracts submission and registration is February 19,
2017. Applications must be completed through the web form (
http://fof.oac.uncor.edu/fof/registration.php).

We encourage the participation of young researchers and students. Thanks to
the support of the Argentinean Astronomical Society, we have funds
available to cover partial travel expenses (accomodation/tickets) for
members presenting work (poster or talk) and with their dues up to date.

The poster session will also have an oral presentation of five minutes per
person to summarize the work.

In this edition there will be a session on Astroinformatics with python
tutorials, visualization, machine learning, and HPC. In addition, there
will be recreational, cultural, and touristic activities.

Nos encontramos próximos al séptimo encuentro Friends of Friends 2017 que
se realizará en Córdoba (Argentina) del 3 al 7 de Abril de 2017. Nos
complace anunciar que tenemos numerosos invitados nacionales   e
internacionales   los   cuales   pueden   ver   en   la   página
oficial http://fof.oac.uncor.edu/fof/invited.html.

*Importante:*
La fecha lí­mite para la presentación de resúmenes e inscripciones es el 19
de Febrero de 2017. Las solicitudes deben llenarse a través del formulario
web (http://fof.oac.uncor.edu/fof/registration.php).

Alentamos la participación de jóvenes investigadores y estudiantes. Gracias
al apoyo de la Asociación Argentina de Astronomí­a, se cuenta con fondos
para solventar gastos parciales (viáticos y/o viaje)para los miembros que
presenten trabajos (póster o charla) y se encuentren con sus cuotas al dí­a.

La sesión de póster contará además con un espacio oral de cinco minutos por
persona para presentar un resumen de su trabajo.

En esta edición se realizará una sesión sobre Astroinformática con
tutoriales sobre python,visualización, machine learning (aprendizaje
automático) y HPC.

Además se realizarán actividades recreativas, culturales y turísticas.
