Astrofísica de Altas Energías, en Viedma, Argentina, 20 Febrero - 3

Nos complace recordarles el próximo *Taller regional de Fortalecimiento 
de Capacidades de COSPAR *en Astrofísica de altas energías.

La “*Escuela* Latinoamericana de *rayos X* para diferentes escenarios 
astrofísicos. - *Análisis de datos* de las misiones *XMM-Newton, Chandra 
y NuStar*”, reunirá a expertos nacionales e internacionales y jóvenes 
investigadores, promoviendo la comunicación y la colaboración, así como 
nuevas ideas que puedan ayudar a los participantes en sus proyectos 
actuales así como futuras investigaciones.

Manuales, instrucciones y clases teórico-prácticas serán dadas durante 
las *dos semanas* que dure el taller. El idioma que se utilizará será el 
Inglés. Se espera que cada estudiante traiga un proyecto de 
investigación corto, el cual será desarrollado, conjuntamente con el 
supervisor o supervisora designado/a, durante las dos semanas del 
taller. Una presentación oral con los resultados del proyecto será dada 
por los alumnos durante el último día.

El taller se realizará en el edificio central de la Universidad de Rio 
Negro (UNRN), en la ciudad de Viedma, Argentina, del *20 de Febrero *al 
*3 de Marzo *del 2017.

Las *fechas límite* para registrarse son el *15/7 y el 31/7*.

*2nd announcement of a COSPAR Capacity Building Workshop in High Energy 
Astrophysics in Viedma, Argentina, 20 February - 3 March 2017 -

We would like to remind you about the next regional *COSPAR Capacity 
Building Workshop* in High Energy Astrophysics.

The “Latin American *X-ray school* for different astrophysical 
scenarios. - *Data analysis* of the *XMM-Newton, Chandra and NuStar* 
missions”, will bring together leading national and international 
experts and young researchers, encouraging communication and 
collaboration as well as promoting new ideas that can help the 
participants in their current projects and further research.

Tutorials, instructions and lectures will be given during the *two-weeks 
workshop*. The working language will be English. In addition, a short 
research project will be expected from each participating 
student, developed with his / her designated supervisor. The results of 
which will be summarized at the end of the workshop. This will be done 
in an oral presentation during the last day of the workshop.

The workshop will be hosted by the Astrophysical Department of the 
University of Rio Negro (UNRN). It will be held from *20 February to 3 
March 2017* in the conference facilities of the Main Building of the 
UNRN, Viedma, Argentina.

The *deadlines* for registration are *15/7 and 31/7*.
