*Astronomy & Astrophysics*, EDP Sciences and Sociedad Chilena de Astronomia
(SOCHIAS)
invit your *PhD Students* or *young postdocs* to participate to the
*4th Scientific Writing for Young Astronomers (SWYA)*,
which will be held in Puerto Varas, Chile, from April 19th to 22th, 2016.

You want help them to improve the *expression of their scientific results
through correct and efficient science writing*? In other words, *how to
write scientific papers for different forums* (journals, proceedings,
thesis manuscripts, etc.)?.

Experienced researchers, editors and language experts will be coming
together to provide a hands-on experience for graduate students and
early-career astronomers. Topics include effective and ethical science
writing, visual communication, language editing, astronomy libraries and
databases, and the publication process.
