Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 26-29/04/2016.


We are pleased to announce the III Argentine-Brazilian Meeting on
Gravitation, Astrophysics and Cosmology – GrACo III, to be held at the
Centro Brasileiro de Pesquisas Físicas in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from April
26th to 29th, 2016. Below you will find important information on the
meeting.

Rationale

The research on Gravitation, Astrophysics, and Cosmology in Argentina and
Brazil has reached a solid level of development, as shown by the quality of
the production of both countries. In this scenario, the main goal of the
GrACo series of meetings is to stimulate and reinforce the collaboration
between these two well-established scientific communities.

The first Meeting was held in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil, in October 2011, with
the attendance of 76 researchers and students from Argentina and Brazil. The
increase to 103 participants for the second Meeting held in Buenos Aires,
Argentina, in April 2014, and the balance of participation between
Brazilians and Argentinians are a proof of the importance and the support
from both scientific communities to this series of meeting.

The organization of the third Argentine-Brazilian Meeting on Gravitation,
Astrophysics and Cosmology aims to continue fostering the effort for
long-term collaborations, by fully involving a larger number of researchers
and students in the discussions.

The scheme of the Meeting will follow the main lines of the previous
editions, with contributed talks and posters, together with a few invited
plenary presentations by well-known specialists on topics of particular
relevance. There will be also enough free time to encourage interaction and
discussion between the participants.

Important information

In this third edition, the meeting will include both invited and contributed
talks, together with contributed posters. The list of invited speakers is

The instructions for sending your contribution will be available at the same
website by the opening of the registration.

The deadline for abstract submission is December 31st, 2015.

Registration will open from October 1st, 2015, to December 31st, 2015.

The registration fee is USD 100 (one hundred american dollars) if paid
before December 1st, and USD 150 (one hundred and fifty american dollars)
after this date. For students, the fee is USD 50 (fifty american dollars). A
limited amount of funding will be available for supporting the participation
of students.
