Dear A&A Board members,

As you know, Malcom Walmsley will leave the responsibilities as
Letters Editor in Chief (LEiC) soon.

The announcement for a successor is attached to this message and the
deadline for applications is 10 November.

Please help us to spread the message widely in your countries
(Astronomical Societies, Institutes etc.) and elsewhere. It is
important to maintain a spread of nationalities among the Editors of
A&A.
