Dear NGO Head,

Attached is a copy of our call for white papers on the scientific case  
for Gemini high-resolution spectroscopy, which is part of the initial  
effort in defining the next new Gemini instrument. Although this call  
is being distributed on several different venues (Gemini web page,  
Gemini Facebook, Monthly e-newsletter, etc), I am asking that you  
please help distribute it to your respective Gemini communities,  
especially to those colleagues who would have a special interest in  
high-resolution spectroscopy and would want to contribute a white  
paper or participate in the community wide discussions. Our goal is to  
involve the broadest section of our community as practical so that we  
can have a very good understanding of the science drivers for  
high-resolution spectroscopy at Gemini Observatory, which in turn will  
be used to define the requirements for this capability. If you have  
any questions, please contact me. And thank-you for your help.
