About me

I am a postdoctoral research fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Astrophysics, in Garching (close to Munich), Germany. I obtained both my PhD degree in astronomy and the degree of Licenciada in Astronomy (Master Science in Astronomy equivalent) at the Faculty of Astronomy and Geophysics of the National University of La Plata, in Argentina, where I worked at La Plata Stellar Evolution and Pulsation Research Group.

My research interests rely on the pulsations, evolution and nucleosynthesis of stars, particularly, low-mass stars. The topic of my PhD research was the study of pulsations and nucleosynthesis during the formation of hydrogen-deficient hot subdwarfs stars and related objects.

I am currently working on neutron capture processes in low-mass stars, focussing on the intermediate neutron capture process. For this research, I have developed, together with a few colleagues, a post-processing code for stellar nucleosynthesis: Astrophysical Nucleosynthesis Tool (ANT). ANT will be made open access in the near future. Stay tuned!
