COMET P/2013 B1 = P/2006 K2 (McNAUGHT)
J. V. Scotti, Lunar and Planetary Laboratory, University of Arizona,
reports his recovery of comet P/2006 K2 (cf. IAUC 8714) on images
obtained with the Spacewatch 1.8-m f/2.7 reflector at Kitt Peak (astrometry
tabulated below); the object appeared very slightly diffuse on both nights
(with a possible tail, but aligned with a faint star trail and may not be
real on the Jan. 19 image; the comet was too close to a field star on Jan. 20
to determine anything about a tail).

The indicated correction to the prediction by B. G. Marsden on MPC 69911
is Delta(T) = -0.17 day. The following linked orbital elements by G. V.
Williams (from 98 observations spanning 2006 May 22-2013 Jan. 20; mean
residual 0".5) and an ephemeris appear on MPEC 2013-B58.
