COMET P/2012 M1 = P/2003 O2 (LINEAR)
H. Sato (Tokyo, Japan) reports the recovery of comet P/2003 O2 (cf. IAUCs
8172, 8174) on stacked 60-s exposures taken with a 0.51-m f/6.8 astrograph
located at the RAS Observatory near Mayhill, NM, U.S.A. He notes a 10" coma
on June 18, and an 8" coma with no tail visible on June 20; the total V-band
magnitudes listed below are as measured within a circular aperture of radius
4".9.

The indicated correction to the prediction by S. Nakano in the International
Comet Quarterly's 2011/2012 Comet Handbook (p. H12) is Delta(T) = +0.11 day.
The linked orbital elements below by G. V. Williams, along with residuals
and an ephemeris, appear on MPEC 2012-M28.
