SUPERNOVAE 2009bm-2009br

Pritchet, Department of Physics and Astronomy of the University of Victoria;
D. Balam, Dominion Astrophysical Observatory, National Research Council of
Canada; M. Catelan, Pontificia Universidad Catolica; E. C. Beshore, S. M.
Larson, A. Gibbs, A. Boattini and R. Hill, Lunar and Planetary Laboratory,
University of Arizona; and E. Christensen, Gemini Observatory, report the
discovery of several apparent supernovae in unfiltered Catalina Sky Survey
(CSS) images:

 2009br   Mar. 19.49   15 23 56.14  - 8 19 18.3   18.0    9".2 W, 13".0 S

Follow-up observations were performed with the Palomar 1.5-m reflector (+
Gunn filter set; lower-case bandpass letters in the listing of magnitudes
below), the 1.82-m Plaskett telescope (+ Johnson V), and the CSS (for which
no passband is provided in the listing of magnitudes below).  Further
magnitudes for 2009bm:  Jan. 18.29 UT, [19.8; Feb. 20.14, g = 17.9, r = 18.1,
i = 17.7; Feb. 21.26, 17.7; Mar. 18.15, 18.5.  The apparent host galaxy for
2009bm, SDSS J083641.72+091404.3, has Gunn magnitudes u = 22.4, g = 20.9, r
= 20.5, i = 20.9, z = 20.0.  Further unfiltered CSS magnitudes for 2009bn:
Jan. 2.55, [21.1; Jan. 28.52, 19.2; Feb. 5.42, 18.6; Mar. 18.45, 19.0.  The
apparent host galaxy for 2009bn, SDSS J141240.84+130945.3, has Gunn magnitudes
u = 21.5, g = 21.0, r = 20.4, i = 20.4, z = 20.4.  Further magnitudes for
2009bo:  Mar. 3.40, [20.5; Mar. 21.38, V = 18.3.  The apparent host galaxy
for 2009bo, SDSS J122751.90+262557.3, has Gunn magnitudes u = 22.6, g = 21.4,
r = 20.8, i = 20.4, z = 20.1.  Further unfiltered CSS magnitudes for 2009bp:
Jan. 30.47, [19.0; Feb. 28.43, 17.9.  The apparent host galaxy for 2009bp,
SDSS J140749.66+363838.1, has Gunn magnitudes u = 21.0, g = 19.9, r = 19.6,
i = 19.4, z = 19.3.  Further magnitudes for 2009bq:  Mar. 1.29, [21.3; Mar.
21.14, g = 16.3, r = 16.7, i = 16.9, z = 16.5; Mar. 21.22, V = 16.7.  Further
magnitudes for 2009br:  2008 Dec. 30.55, [20.7; 2009 Mar. 21.32, g = 18.6, r
= 18.2, i = 18.4, z = 18.2.
