COMET P/2008 X1 = 2003 F6 (HILL)
     M. Meyer, Limburg, Germany, reports his identification of images of
comet P/2008 X1 on three NEAT frames from 2003 Mar. 24, the object being
clearly cometary with a coma diameter of 8" and a 12" tail in p.a. 240 deg.
He then recognized four LONEOS observations on 2003 Apr. 1.
The first of each set of observations, designated P/2003 F6, are:

     2003 UT R.A. (2000) Decl. Mag.
     Mar. 24.35873 12 53 50.03 +23 29 40.9 19.8
     Apr. 1.28612 12 48 08.21 +24 15 50.2 19.2

Further details, including observations on 2008 Dec. 26 and
a linked 2003-2008 orbit, are given on MPEC 2008-Y60. The comet is
at perihelion on 2002 Aug. 19.1 and 2009 May 7.8 TT.
