SUPERNOVAE 2008et AND 2008eu
     G. Leloudas, J. Fynbo, and J. Sollerman, Dark Cosmology Centre, Niels
Bohr Institute, Copenhagen University, report on spectroscopy of 2008et (cf.
CBET 1466) and 2008eu (cf. CBET 1467) obtained with the European Southern
Observatory's New Technology Telescope (+ EFOSC2; range 338-752 nm,
resolution 1.5 nm) on Aug. 24.18 and 24.29 UT.  Cross-corelation of the
fully reduced spectra with a library of supernova spectra using the "Supernova
Identification" code (Blondin and Tonry 2007, Ap.J. 666, 1024) shows both
variables to be type-II supernovae somewhat past maximum light.
