SUPERNOVA 2007le IN NGC 7721
     L. A. G. Monard, Pretoria, South Africa, reports his discovery of
an apparent supernova (red mag 15.2) on unfiltered CCD images obtained
on Oct. 13.79 and 13.83 UT. The new object is located at R.A. =
23h38m48s.41, Decl. = -6o31'21".3 (equinox 2000.0), which is 4" west
and 17" south of the core of NGC 7721. Following posting on the
Central Bureau's unconfirmed-objects webpage, H. Yamaoka (Kyushu
University) reports that K. Itagaki (Teppo-cho, Yamagata, Japan) has
confirmed the existence of 2007le at mag 14.9 on an unfiltered CCD
image taken with a 0.60-m reflector on Oct. 14.565; nothing is visible
at the position of 2007le (to limiting mag 16.0) on an image taken by
Itagaki on Oct. 10.666.
