SUPERNOVA 2006hn IN UGC 6154
     Further to IAUC 8754, A. Sehgal, R. Gagliano, and T. Puckett report
the discovery of an apparent supernova (mag 15.6) on CCD images taken
with a 0.50-m reflector (limiting mag 19.0) at Osoyoos, BC, on Sept.
28.46 UT in the course of the Puckett Observatory Supernova Search.  The
new object was confirmed at mag 15.5 by A. Sehgal with the same
instrument on Sept. 29.21.  SN 2006hn is located at R.A. = 11h07m18s.67,
Decl. = +76o41'49".8 (equinox 2000.0), which is 7".6 north of UGC 6154.
Nothing is visible at this location on images taken by Puckett on June 8
(limiting mag 19.5).
