SUPERNOVA 2006lv IN UGC 6517
     G. Duszanowicz, Akersberga, Sweden, reports his discovery
of an apparent supernova (mag 17.0) on unfiltered CCD frames
(limiting mag 17.5) taken on Oct. 28.124 UT with a 0.32-m f/3.1
reflector.  The new object is located at R.A. = 11h32m03.30, Decl.
= +36d42'03".6 (equinox 2000.0), which is 10" east and 12" north
of the center of UGC 6517.  Additional R-band magnitudes for
2006lv:  2005 Apr. 5.86, [18.0; 11.86, [18.0; 2006 Nov. 2.10,
16.7; 3.03, 15.8 (image by F. Andersson, 0.90-m reflector, near
Uppsala; measurements by J. Warell).
