SUPERNOVA 2006ow IN UGC 3908
     T. Boles, Coddenham, England, reports the discovery of an apparent
supernova on unfiltered CCD images taken on Nov. 26.068 (at mag 17.7)
and 26.902 UT (mag 18.0) with a 0.35-m reflector.  The new object is
located at R.A. = 7h35m37s.44 +/- 0s.02, Decl. = +66o24'50".0 +/- 0".1
(equinox 2000.0), which is approximately 7".9 west and 5".3 south of the
center of UGC 3908.  Nothing is present at this location on Boles'
images from 2005 Nov. 3 and 2006 Jan. 2 (limiting mag 19.5) or on
Digitized Sky Survey plates from 1989 Dec. 23 (limiting red mag 20.5)
and 1997 Mar. 9 (limiting blue mag 21.0).
