SUPERNOVAE 2007D, 2007E, AND 2007F
     R. J. Foley, University of California, Berkeley; and A. Gal-Yam,
California Institute of Technology, report that inspection of CCD spectra
(range 320-930 nm), obtained on Jan. 13 UT with the Keck I 10-m telescope
(+ LRIS), shows that 2007D (CBET 801, IAUC 8794) is a type-Ic supernova,
with broad lines similar to those of SN 2002ap (Foley et al. 2003, PASP
115, 1220), approximately 1 week after maximum brightness. At a distance
of 96 Mpc (Wegner et al. 1993, A.J. 105, 1251), SN 2007D has an absolute
magnitude of about -17.0, similar to SN 2002ap (Foley et al. 2003, PASP
115, 1220).  SNe 2007E (CBET 802, IAUC 8794) and 2007F (CBET 803, IAUC 8794)
are both of type Ia, with 2007F being similar to SN 1999aa (Garavini et al.
2004, A.J. 128, 387).  SNe 2007E and 2007F have spectral-feature ages (Riess
et al. 1997, A.J. 114, 722) of +9 (+/- 2) and -9 (+/- 2) days relative to
maximum brightness, respectively. Removing the host recession velocities of
cz = 6778 km/s (Huchra et al. 1993, A.J. 105, 1637) and 7135 km/s (found
from narrow absorption lines), the minimum of the Si II 635.5-nm line is
measured to be blueshifted by 10000 and 12400 km/s for SNe 2007E and 2007F,
respectively.
